LeBron Raymone James Sr. - born 30 December 1984 - is an professionally-trained American basketball star. The nickname is King James he is widely considered one of the greatest basketball players ever and has often been compared with Michael Jordan in debates over the best basketball player of all time. James has taken home four NBA championships and four NBA MVP awards Four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James has scored more points in the playoffs. He also has the second-most career points and has the seventh-highest number of career assists. Alongside being an NBA All-Star, James was chosen as a member of his NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. He was the third player to participate in NBA Finals. Eight of these were consecutive between the year 2011 until the year 2018. James was chosen to be part of the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team for 2021. James became the first NBA player with 10,000 points, rebound and assists in 2022. James was a basketball player during his time at St. Vincent St. Mary High School close to his home in Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hyped by the media. As a prep to pro, the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the top pick during the NBA draft in 2003. He was named the 2004 NBA Rookie of Year he soon established himself as one of the best league players winning an NBA MVP title in 2009 and 2010. James went free agency in 2010, after he failed to win championships with Cleveland. He made the decision to leave Cleveland for Miami Heat, announced on the television show The Decision, is considered among the most controversial free agent moves in sports history.
