LeBron Raymone James Sr., born the 30th of December, 1984, is an American professional basketball player, who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). King James has been widely considered to be the greatest of all time basketball players. Michael Jordan is usually the subject of debates about who's the greatest player. James has been the recipient of four NBA Championships as well as the four NBA MVP Awards as well as four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He is also the proud owner of two Olympic Gold medals. James holds the record for the highest number of points scored in the post-season, second best overall career score and 7th the most assists in his career. This is an NBA record for him to be an NBA All-Star for 18 years. James was the third player to participate in NBA Finals. Eight of these were consecutive between 2011 through 2018. In 2021 James was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022, he became the very first player in NBA history to rack up at least 10,000 career points rebounds and assists. James played basketball for St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio, where he lived his entire life. National media touted James as a future NBA superstar. The Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the top pick in the NBA draft in 2003. As the NBA rookie player of 2004, he established his name rapidly as one of the best athletes in the league, winning the NBA MVP award for the years 2009 and 2010. He was unable to secure the championship Cleveland James left in 2010 by way of a free-agent to become a member of Miami Heat.
