Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor is best known for his character on the show on television 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. In college, he began to pursue a passion for acting. While at his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder where he was studying acting. His characters in television have gained him a lot of popularity. He has been able to easily play characters who are from both sides of law, and captivate the viewers' attention. He was the character of the serial killer on the first TV show he appeared in and then later played an NYPD detective. For his work on the small screen, he's won several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. His most attractive facial feature is said to be his striking blue eyes, which are considered as a signature and helped in portraying tough characters that have charisma. The year 2006 was the last time he was featured in People's magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
