Antonia's Lofaso invites you look into her soul through the cuisine she creates. In 2011, Lofaso partnered along with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi to launch Black Market Liquor Bar in Studio City. In Black Market and the business partnerships she formed Lofaso found an appropriate home. Lofaso had the chance to enjoy the creativity she had always wanted. Black Market does not have a single direction, that's the intention. It could begin with dill potato chips and shishito peppers followed by the lobster roll Korean wings, and then a series of meatballs. Antonia, the chef behind this menu filled with mouthwatering and vibrant flavors, anchors everything. Lofaso assessed her success in the field in part by her ability to both understand and be authentic to her audiences. In 2012, Lofaso was a part of Penguin to publish the Busy Mom's Cookbook 100 Recipes for Quick Delicious homemade Meals and recounts the obstacles she faced when she was studying at the world-class French Culinary Institute, and simultaneously caring for her child Xea.
